FIELD: heat power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in installations operating on gas fuel for deep utilization of low-potential heat of combustion products. Method employing two-step absorption ABTT operates in two modes depending on ambient air temperature and return water temperature. In the heat pump mode with two-stage absorption, when the ambient air temperature is below minus 8 °C, and return water temperature at inlet is higher than 50 °C. In heat pump mode with single-stage absorption, when ambient air temperature is higher than minus 8 °C, and return water temperature at inlet is not more than 50 °C.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency of heat power plants and providing continuous and stable operation of the system, as well as heating of oxygen-free medium with temperature of up to 70 °C during the entire heating period.
