FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for continuous casting-pressing of metals. Plant comprises dispenser (3), crystallizer wheel (1) with annular groove (2) on upper base, arched segment (5) with press die (4) and protrusion (6) mating with annular groove (2), sealed protective housing (7) and gas supply device (8). Distributing header (11) is arranged above annular groove. Tight protective housing is connected to device (8) for supply of gas produced from liquefied coolant located outside the zone of protective housing. Gas supply device via controlled valve (10) and branch pipe (9) is connected to distributing collector (11) and performs uniform cooling of installation elements and press products. Unit is equipped with outlet branch pipe (12) for outlet of waste gaseous cooling agent.
EFFECT: exposure of the gaseous coolant directly to the outer surfaces of the apparatus and the metal billet increases the efficiency of cooling thereof, which enables to obtain press articles from alloys with a high melting point.
