FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to casting of metal combined with its rolling and drawing, and can be used for production of welding wire and ligature bars from non-ferrous metals. Proposed plant comprises mixing furnace, rotary-type crystalliser, roller assembly with two water-cooled rolls, one of which is made with a groove and the other with a ledge forming a closed caliber. A water-cooled matrix, a cooling device, a deforming unit of a drawing and a reel are installed at the output of the gauge. Plant is equipped with continuous rolling mill with stands located at water matrix outlet, wherein number of rolling mill stands is calculated by formula
where d is diameter of rod produced by rolling-pressing (mm), d1 is wire diameter (mm), λav is average drawing coefficient at long rolling at continuous mill.
EFFECT: proposed is an installation for continuous casting, rolling, pressing and drawing of welding wire and ligature rods from non-ferrous metals and alloys.
