FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of levitation melting and device for making casts with inclined induction devices. In the case of the method, induction devices are used, at which the opposing ferrite poles with inductance coils are made located not in the same plane but at a certain angle to the levitation plane.

EFFECT: using induction devices can increase efficiency of induced magnetic field for melting of charge; due to the inclined arrangement, the portion of the induced magnetic field is increased, which effectively contributes to the retention force of the field for levitation of the melt.
