FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making blades of turbines, prostheses or turbo-supercharger wheels. Portion (1) of conductive material is placed in the zone of action of at least one electromagnetic variable field, which is produced by means of coils (3), due to which portion is retained in suspended state, and its melting is performed. Mold (2) is positioned in the filling zone under suspended portion (1). All portion (1) is poured into mold (2). At that, casting (2) during casting is brought into translational movement parallel to casting direction of portion (1), and volume of molten portion (1) is sufficient to fill mold (2).
EFFECT: higher quality of produced casting, eliminated losses of material during melting and casting.
