FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, specifically to UHF radiometric receivers for earth surface remotely sensed equipment for determination of its moisture content. Remote moisture meter comprises three-input microwave switch connected by its output to first input of microwave circulator with direction of wave circulation from first input to output, connected by its output to series-connected high frequency amplifier, a quadratic detector, a low-frequency amplifier, a synchronous filter, a synchronous detector, a multiplier-division operation calculating unit, a calculator and a recorder, and also comprises a modulation control device, the control inputs of which are connected to the inputs of a microwave switch, a synchronous filter, a synchronous detector and a computer, wherein the antenna for receiving the vertically polarized electromagnetic wave and the antenna for receiving the horizontally polarized electromagnetic wave comprise outputs connected to the inputs of the three-input microwave switch, and the antenna angular position two-axis sensor is connected to the computer input, wherein the antennas and the antenna angular position sensor are structurally made in the form of a single antenna unit.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of measuring soil moisture content is technical result of invention.
