FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration of minerals, namely, to method of flotation concentration of copper ore. Proposed method comprises spherical grinding of crushed copper ore in lime medium, subsequent conditioning of pulp with reagents: collector and foaming agent, flotation of crushed material to produce copper concentrate and tails. Ball milling is carried out with copper-containing grinding balls of reduced strength, obtained as a result of reducing melting of slugs of copper-smelting production. Copper ore particles released during abrasion of balls during copper ore grinding are floated together with minerals of copper ore into copper concentrate. Formed in the process of grinding and flotation decoppered iron scrap is obtained from flotation tailings by magnetic separation to obtain rich iron concentrate.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining of additional commercial product and increase of copper extraction into copper concentrate at improvement of its quality due to flotation into concentrate of rich particles of metallic copper.
