FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of monitoring a moving body. Such result is achieved by the fact that the method of monitoring a moving body includes obtaining time-domain Fn images captured with a predetermined time interval (step S10), obtaining the calculated position Ln of the moving body P in the time sequence Fn image based on the motion of the moving body P (step S20), retrieving an image including a calculated position Ln of a moving body P from images of images Fn of a time sequence, as the extracted image Qn (step S30), generating the QT template image by superimposing the extracted images Qn such that the reference points of the moving body P in the extracted images coincide with each other (step S40), and identification of the position LSn of the moving body P in each of the images Fn of the time sequence by performing pattern matching with the template image QT for at least one of the images Fn of the time sequence (step S50).
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing accurate detection of a moving body using the overlapping method.
