FIELD: digital image processing means.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image processing and, in particular, to method of detecting moving object in captured images, for example, space debris. Disclosed is method of detecting moving objects, if pixel value, which includes minimum noise different from each of components of noise "(1) components of CCD-elements displacement", "(2) gradational components of background light" and "(3) components of optical system displacement", detected during determination of correction value for each of above noise components, then "(5) thermal noise and reading noise components", which represent random noise superimposed on each pixel value. So, from plurality of image signals, in which moving object must be observed, captured by image capturing fixation, minimum value of each pixel is selected as image signal, which includes minimum noise different from the above four components of noise, and minimum value is used as correction value for above four noise components.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of detecting moving objects or candidates using method of applying by smaller number of operations.
