SUBSTANCE: method for detecting a moving object by its images obtained in the regular time intervals, based on the assessment values obtained from the pixel values in the same pixel positions overlapping each other on the images, gradually moving the images in accordance with the information relevant to the intended movement of the moving object, contains: a stage of calculating the average value for a limited number of pixels, by which the average value is calculated, using pixel values equal to or less than the threshold value in order to distinguish the moving object from the radiating element with a higher brightness; and an evaluating stage, at which the pixels in the same pixel positions in the images are evaluated, for which the average values, calculated at the stage of calculating the average value for a limited number of pixels, are equal to or greater than the threshold value, as the pixels capturing the moving object or its potential candidates.
EFFECT: improving the detection accuracy of a moving object or its possible candidate.
