FIELD: medicine; cardiovascular surgery.
SUBSTANCE: invasive pressure is measured in arteries of lower extremities up to, in place, post-stenosis by means of catheter 6Fr, to which Y-click connector and invasive pressure sensor is connected. Stenosis is considered to be significant in systolic pressure gradient > 20 mm Hg or with average gradient > 10 mm Hg, in combination with reduced blood reserve of extremity (BRE) below 1.0, which is defined as the ratio of pressure after stenosis with underlying hyperaemia and pressure in a constant area, before stenosis.
EFFECT: method enables high-accuracy determination of significant stenosis and surgical intervention in the area of significant stenosis, which improves clinical effectiveness.
