FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for non-destructive inspection by acoustic method. Essence of invention consists in the fact that device for electromagnetic acoustic monitoring is made in the form of an electromagnetic-acoustic transducer placed on the monitoring object and containing an electromagnetic coil, and also comprises on receiving-transmitting side series-connected generator of probing pulses, receiving amplifier and control unit configured to control the probing pulses generator and analysing the control signals received via the communication channel from the electromagnetic-acoustic converter, wherein electromagnetic-acoustic converter includes reactive matching impedance Z1 connected in series with electromagnetic coil, and the output of the probing pulse generator is connected to the input of the receiving amplifier through the introduced reactive matching resistance Z2, wherein Z1 = -Z2.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of device, as well as increase in its sensitivity and accuracy.
