FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic testing device incorporates synchronizer, generator of sounding pulses and power amplifier connected in series, emitting and receiving electroacoustic converters, filter and storage circuit connected in series. Second input of storage circuit is tied together with second input of filter and is connected to output synchronizer. Device also has indicator, inductance coil which lead is connected to power output, multiplexer which input is connected to another lead of inductance coil, demultiplexer and inductance coil which lead is grounded and which another lead is tied together with output of demultiplexer and is connected to input of filter, unit forming control and commutation signals, emitting and receiving electroacoustic broadband converters coming in the form of matrix comprising N piezoelements of various heights. Piezoelements of emitting electroacoustic converter are connected to N outputs of multiplexer and N piezoelements of receiving electroacoustic converter are connected to N inputs of demultiplexer.
