FIELD: glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of hollow glass articles. Method of producing article (1) from pressed hollow glass (2) includes the following steps, at which: at least one drop (3) of molten glass is placed in matrix (4), intended for creation of specified external shape of glass item (1) to be produced. Melting glass (2) is pressed in female die (4) by means of male die (5) to form hollow glass article (1) by creating inner hollow volume (6). Method comprises marking glass article (1) with marking tool (7) independent of male die (5), in order to reproduce at least one convex and/or depressed pattern (8) in the inner volume of the glass article. Marked and pressed glass article (1) is cooled. Glass article (1) is removed from the matrix.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of glass product individualization at marking stage.
