FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely, to forensic medicine. For postmortem diagnosis of diffuse axonal brain injury (DAI), as well as establishment of its prescription, a sectional examination of a corpus callosum separated from a median line from the left and right hemispheres of the brain is carried out. Complex of pathological criteria DAI and dynamics of structural changes in various post-traumatic DAI periods are determined.
EFFECT: method enables reliable post-test diagnosis of DAI and determination of its prescription.
