FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forensic medicine, forensic medical examination and criminalistics. Method for determining biological age of a corpse involves histological examination of brain tissues – sections of undistracted calloused body, morphometric analysis of three obtained histological samples, including summation of diameters of all glial macrophages under a microscope, and as a result, equal to 185 mcm and less, a biological age of the corpse is stated to be 25 years and younger, as result of 530 mcm and more, a biological age of the corpse is stated to be 67 years and older.
EFFECT: invention simplifies and reduces the cost of determining the biological age of the corpse at high accuracy.
