FIELD: monitoring total residual deformation of transportation and/or anchorage facilities, ship hulls in particular.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in determination of characteristics of total strength of bodies of transportation and/or anchorage facilities, for example moments of inertia and resistance of cross section, residual amount of total deformation of selected sections of ship and comparison of these data with permissible magnitudes. Determination of characteristics of total strength of hull for definite service life is made on basis of actual flaw detection and/or on basis static data on some ships for further outlook. Characteristics of total strength of hull are also determined on basis of determination of flexible line at definite versions of loading, standard loading in particular taking into account some factors, such as stressed state of hull members, relative magnitudes of deformation of hull strength members, planning state of hull for definite service life; wanted magnitudes of characteristics may be obtained due to static processing of particular determination.
EFFECT: possibility of monitoring state of ship hulls both actual and scheduled for definite period of time.
