FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Method and operation of body tissue ablation device involves generation of ablation signal and supply of ablation signal to ablation probe in contact with tissue. Irrigating fluid is supplied to an ablation probe for irrigating liquid application near the tissue when the ablative signal is applied to the tissue. Signals are received from the ablation probe and indicate the estimated instantaneous contact force, which the ablative probe applies to the tissue.
EFFECT: flow rate of irrigating liquid can be corrected depending on estimated instantaneous force of contact.
