FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of measuring speed of rail vehicles. Device comprises a signal generator, a computing unit, three inductance coils arranged above the rail line in a row at equal distance from each other, series-connected phase-shifting circuit, amplifier, adder, detector and analogue-to-digital converter, which output is connected to the computing unit input, the output of the computing unit is the device output. Signal generator is in form of a low-frequency sinusoidal signal generator, the output of which is connected to the input of the phase-shifting circuit and outputs of the first and third inductance coils located on both sides of the second inductance coil, which outputs are connected to the adder second input.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measuring velocity module in slippage conditions.
