METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CHEWING TOBACCO BASED ON NATURAL FOOD COMPONENTS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A24B13/00 

FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of chewing tobacco. Method of making chewing tobacco includes mixing in equal proportions of fermented Arabic tobacco raw material of Doha variety with fermented aromatic tobacco raw material of the eastern type with previously removed middle veins, grinding the mixture and selecting a fraction passing through a sieve with a diameter of 5 mm and not passing through a sieve with a diameter of 3 mm, adding pre-prepared starting components, 3 % NaCl salt solution and 20 % NaHCO₃ soda solution, standard gelatin solution, stirring for 10–15 minutes, holding for 2–3 hours at room temperature in a closed container, pasteurizing for 60 minutes at t=65 °C, spitting for 24 hours in a closed container with stirring every 6 hours, the formation of granules and drying.

EFFECT: technical result is to obtain chewing tobacco of medium strength and improved quality based on natural food ingredients.
