FIELD: automation of technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation of technological processes, particularly control of fuel-control valve, and can be used in operation of gas transfer units (GTU) at compressor stations. Substance of the method consists in the fact that during stable operation of the gas compressor unit at the specified rotation frequency, the ratio of the gas-air mixture in the combustion chamber for the current mode is considered to be optimal for the automatic control system. Proceeding from this, current operating point of fuel-control valve position dependence on pressure behind axial compressor or alternatively from high-pressure turbine rpm determines on rated line. Fixation of working zone and control of deviation of operating point from nominal line takes place only in transient processes, that is, at setting change of GTU rotation frequency.

EFFECT: disclosed method increases reliability of gas compressor unit in terms of providing stable combustion in combustion chamber without detachments and flame attenuation due to adaptation of system to changes in external parameters, as well as by reducing the number of used sensors, which increases probability of system non-failure operation.
