SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Said technical result is achieved by providing a method of detecting services provided by NF in an SBA communication network, wherein said network function is registered in network repository function (NRF) contained in said communication network using service name, service address and selection rule, wherein said selection rule sets an additional service address and a prerequisite for applying said selection rule, wherein said method comprises steps of receiving, by said NRF, request for detection, from consumer NF, wherein said request for detection comprises said service name, determining, by means of said NRF, that said selection rule is applied, by determining that said prerequisite is satisfied based on said received detection request, and transmitting, by said NRF, said NF-consumer a detection response, wherein said detection response comprises said additional service address.

EFFECT: technical result is separation of existing network functions (NF) in communication network based on service-based architecture (SBA) for specific and independent functionality, independent life-cycle management (LCM) per service.
