FIELD: computing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computing technology. A method for protecting a message, performed by network equipment in one of several different core network domains in a wireless communication system, is proposed, in which a message is received, which is or should be transferred between different core network domains; cross-domain security is applied or cross-domain security is removed from one or more portions of the field content in this message in accordance with a security policy that includes information, indicating which one or more parts of the content need to apply or remove cross-domain security, the information including one or more JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) pointers that indicate the one or more parts; and redirecting to the addressee of the message this message with applied or removed in relation to the said one or more parts of the security between the domains.
EFFECT: providing cross-domain security for a message transmitted between different core network domains in a wireless communication system.
