FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal spring O-ring for flange annular sealing devices of air duct joints with air bypass, which is used for sealing of air intake devices joints with inlet devices of various types of air-jet engines, located in the zone of the end surface of the first flange, resting on the lead-in part of the second flange and having slots for air bypass. Sealing metal ring is fixed on end surface of first flange through spring washer by means of screws, and cuts are made through radial to form bending lobes, wherein bended lobes are pre-bent towards outer ring diameter, thereby providing a given tightness of fixed and movable flanged radial connections with limited space between flanges, reliability of operation, simplified design and assembly process.
EFFECT: disclosed is a metal spring O-ring for flange annular sealing devices of air duct joints with air bypass.
