FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser engineering. compact solid-state laser of the red spectrum range includes a focusing lens, a resonator with an active medium and an optical pumping source, which is a semiconductor GaN laser diode, and the resonator is formed of two mirrors. Active medium used is a LiY0.3Lu0.7F4 crystal activated with Pr3+ ions (CPr = 1 at. %), resonator is formed by inlet flat mirror and outlet spherical mirror with radius of curvature R = 50 mm and transmission of 2.5 % in red wavelength range in area of 639.5 nm, wherein the laser further comprises an optical filter for cutting unabsorbed pumping radiation.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of generation characteristics.
