SUBSTANCE: apparatus has first stage incorporating pumping laser whose radiation beams ranging between 0.93 and 1.15 mcm are passed through light conductor to second stage incorporating conversion laser that radiates beams within 3 ± 0.2 mcm range. Alternative apparatuses claimed differ in composition of conversion laser crystals containing mixed fluorides of holmium Ho, co-activated ions of praseodymium Pr, ytterbium Yb, or yttrium Y.
