FIELD: methods and devices for metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of laser welding of one or several steel sheets made from boron-containing manganese steel hardened under pressure, wherein at least one and steel sheets (1, 2; 2') have coating (4) made of aluminium. Laser welding is performed with supply of additional wire (11) to welding bath (9) formed by means of laser beam (6). Additional wire (11) contains at least one alloying element influencing stabilization of austenite. Laser beam (6) is adjusted so that it oscillates across welding direction with frequency of at least 200 Hz.
EFFECT: technical result is that at relatively low power consumption provides strength of weld after hot forming (hardening under press), comparable with strength of base material, wherein removal of aluminium coating can be excluded on edges of sheets to be welded.
