FIELD: metal processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for welding preparation of steel sheets consisting of a hardened steel material whereto an aluminium-silicon anti-corrosive coating is applied, to a sheet preform, a welded component, and an application of sheet preforms in production of welded components. Prior to welding, the aluminium-silicon layer on the sheets in the area of the welded joint and the underlying intermetallic intermediate layer between the base material and the anti-corrosive coating are treated with laser. The material of the aluminium-silicon layer and the underlying intermetallic intermediate layer is evaporated and stretched, wherein the reaction with the base material occurs so that a metal layer of reaction ablation or a layer of fusion ablation is obtained, containing iron and alloying elements from the base material and aluminium and silicon from the aluminium-silicon layer and the intermetallic intermediate layer. The reaction layer has a thickness from 5 mcm to 100 mcm.

EFFECT: preventing the formation of scaling and decarburisation of the edges and formation of intermetallic or soft ferritic phases without complicating the method.
