FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building, particularly, to rotary-piston internal combustion engines, and can be used for engine body heat insulation. Engine housing with inlet and outlet channels includes heat-insulating coating applied on inner surface of engine housing and inner surface of outlet channel of engine housing. Coating of the housing is made of inter-ceramic-matrix composite material based on reaction-sintered silicon SiC, zirconium diboride ZrB2, zirconium disilicide ZrSi2, ultradispersed carbon C and vanadium V at specified ratio of components in wt% with formation of Nowotny phase with composition Zr5Si3C. Coating of inner surface of outlet channel of housing is made of material based on porous silicon carbide SiC, modified with fibers of silicon nitride Si3N4 at certain ratio of components in wt%.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving heat-shielding, adhesion and strength properties of coating of inner surface of housing of rotary-piston engine and inner surface of outlet channel of housing of rotary-piston engine.
