FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in combined internal combustion engines. Combined engine consists of an internal combustion engine and a rotary engine of external combustion conjugated to it by a working shaft, into which exhaust gases from the internal combustion engine enter the working medium. Rotary engine of external combustion consists of rotor, stator (3) and roller-gate valves (5.1), (5.2). Rotor consists of right and left disks (2.5) and (2.6) with recesses. In stator (3) there are through cut-outs, in which there are freely rotating, driven by rotation of rotor roller-gate (5.1), (5.2). Shutter rollers (5.1), (5.2) enter the rotor indentations during the engine operation. Shutter rollers (5.1), (5.2) form in the rotor recesses the engine working chambers confined by the rotor recess surfaces, the surfaces of gate rollers (5.1), (5.2) entering the recesses in the rotor, and stator (3) surfaces facing the rotor surfaces.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of mechanism and elimination of sliding friction between moving parts of rotary engine of external combustion due to friction of rolling.
