FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Multi-chamber internal combustion engine consists of rotor (2), stator (3), roller-gate valves (4.1), (4.3), (5.2), (5.4) and gas-distributing mechanism rollers. Ignition chambers (2.41) are located completely inside engine rotor (2). There are working chambers in which fuel mixture is compressed and into which fuel mixture is sucked in, and working chambers in which combustion gases expand and from which exhaust gases of combustion formed during engine operation are discharged. Working chambers are formed in rotor (2) recesses different in size and having independent volumes and open to adjacent surfaces of stator (3).
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of sliding friction by replacing sliding friction between engine parts for friction of rolling.
