FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of external rotary engines. Essence of invention consists in the fact that during operation engine receives rotation energy both from pressure on walls of its working chambers, into which enters into working body, and from process of expansion inside the engine of working medium portions captured and placed in internal working chambers of engine, from which spent working body comes out of engine. Working chambers, in which the working body enters and from which the spent working body comes out, are separated and have independent, different volumes and are located in different parts of the engine rotor. In each working chamber there is a roller-gate valve with formation of an expansion chamber and an exhaust chamber, wherein the working chamber expansion chamber with a smaller volume is interconnected with the working medium engine inlet channel, and larger chamber working chamber expansion chamber communicates with exhaust chamber of working chamber of smaller volume by means of channel. At that, shutoff roller located in working chamber of larger volume is made with diameter exceeding diameter of roller-gate, located in working chamber of smaller volume.
EFFECT: technical result consists in higher engine efficiency.
