FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method of transmitting electric power between movable parts of an object relates to electrical engineering and power engineering, in particular to methods which provide continuous transmission of energy between separate units of one object, moving relative to each other. Electric contact between mutually moving parts of object is created in contact pair, where process of contacts sliding is replaced by process of "steps" of one contact in another way. Permanent electric contact is provided by the fact that "steps" of contacts are performed with overlapping, providing during "step" pressing of contacts of movable and fixed parts without mutual sliding. Method allows excluding friction between moving contacts, which qualitatively changes requirements to production and operation of such contact pairs.

EFFECT: technical effect consists in the fact that requirements to mechanical and physical properties of materials are reduced, from which contacts of contact pairs are made, stability of characteristics is improved, power of losses between rubbing parts of object is reduced and service life of object is extended.
