SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for attachment and centering of tool in machine spindle, for example, drilling machine for rail. Device (15) for attachment and centering of tool (1, 1') has tubular section (17) forming cartridge (19) and limited in longitudinal direction by cylindrical centering surface (21). Tubular section has the first threaded hole (22) with the first clamping pin (23) inserted into cartridge (19), the second threaded hole (25) with the second clamping pin (26) entering cartridge (19), third hole (30) , touching centering surface (21), and stop pin (34). Locking pin inserted into third hole (30) blocks cartridge (19). To unlock cartridge (19), the pin is removed from third hole (30). As a result, it is possible to attach and center tools with different type of connecting section.
