FIELD: satisfaction of human vital needs.
SUBSTANCE: absorbent article comprising a multilayer structure with absorbent material between at least two layers of said multilayer structure, such as, for example, a diaper and at least one elongated strip. Each elongated strip includes an attached portion, by means of which the strip is attached to at least one layer of the multilayer structure, and a fastening portion provided for detachable engagement with the seating zone on the absorbent article. At least the attached part of each strip is made of a pre-selected material that can be deformed when exposed to an energy source. Attached part includes a plurality of surface ledges, which are formed as an integral part from the specified material, besides, each of the above surface projections includes the lower part and the upper part located above the lower part. Attached part is attached to said layer by means of deformed upper parts of at least some of said surface projections. Method of such article manufacture, where attachment is performed by means of deformation of upper parts of surface ledges.
EFFECT: absorbent article is disclosed.
