FIELD: pulp industry.

SUBSTANCE: corrugated fiber board containing cellulose fibers is developed, which has at least one of a geometrical extension index in range of 32 to 65 Nm/g, a fracture toughness index in range of 14 to 24 Jm/kg and a ring breaking strength index in range of 5 to 10 Nm/g, measured at OB 85 %; wherein cellulose fibers contain a mixture of less ground fibers, having Schopper—Riegler value (SR) in range from 15 to 28, and microfibrillated cellulose fibers, wherein said mixture contains said microfibrillated cellulose in range of 1 to 5 % by weight of dry content of cellulose fibers and said corrugated fiber board comprises a hydrophobic sizing additive.

EFFECT: invention relates to corrugated fibrous cardboard having improved compression strength and improved compression creep, in particular when humidity is subject to strong cyclic changes.
