FIELD: processing of low-value keratin-containing raw material.
SUBSTANCE: keratin-containing raw materials are milled. Oxidation-reduction processes are carried out—hydrolysis, where the raw material is treated with solution of 3 % sodium hydroxide, 1 % hydrogen peroxide and 0.5 % sodium sulphite with LC=8, at temperature 20±2 °C for 12 hours. Neutralization is carried out with lactic acid and then thermal sterilization, settling and filtration. Hydrolyzate is mixed with an acid agent for immobilization, which is represented by a fermented milk composition containing microorganisms: Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus delbrueckii sp., Having titrated acidity value of 260–280 °T, at ratio of keratin hydrolyzate: fermented milk composition 4:3.
EFFECT: invention provides enrichment of the product with cultured milk microorganisms, reduced production cycle, possibility of reducing the risk of development of putrefactive processes, developing fungi, enriching with amino acids products.
