FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry and is intended for insulation of formation and prevention of ingress of killing fluid into formation during repair works. Mechanical pass shutoff valve comprises body, seat installed inside body with ball with axial bore, collet, pusher to open or close cutoff valve. Piston is installed inside the housing to communicate its radial channels with holes of top and bottom seats. Piston is connected to the collet through the planks transmitting the ball rotation through the blocks, installed in the ball grooves. Pusher in lower part has outer projection interacting with collet upper collars during removal of pusher from housing to close cutoff valve and with collet lower collars - during installation of pusher in housing, moving collet to upper and lower positions respectively.

EFFECT: providing pressure leveling above and below cutoff valve prior to its opening in order to reduce actuation force and increase smoothness of opening.
