SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurology, and can be used for conservative treatment of patients with trigeminal neuralgia (TN). That is ensured by therapy stimulating the remyelination process with administering the biologically active additive L-arginine per os. On 30^th day of treatment, rigidity (V) of the vessels participating in the neurovascular conflict is determined by means of a personal diagnostic instrument for analysing the state of the angiogenesis system AngioScan-01P by AngioScan-Electronics LLC, Russia. When condition P > -21 % of patient on 31st day from the beginning of the treatment is administered a biologically active additive L-arginine in dose of 500 mg in the morning and in evening for 30 days per os. General course of treatment is 60 days.

EFFECT: invention provides higher clinical effectiveness in TN and prolongs remission for almost 12 months.
