FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronics and can be used for making electrodes of heat-resistant long-life spark arresters with high stability of breakdown voltage. Method of producing electrodes of spark arresters involves mixing powders of tungsten, nickel and strontium carbonate in the following ratio: strontium carbonate - 2.0…6.0%; nickel - 2.0…4.5%; tungsten - balance, wherein tungsten powder is prepared from two Fischer fractions of 0.5 and 5.0 mcm in ratio of 70/30, nickel powder - from Fischer 1.0 and 0.1 micron fractions in ratio of 80/20, strontium carbonate has Fischer fraction 1 mcm, the dried mixture is granulated by straining through a sieve. Said granulate with size of more than 0.1 mm is separated. Blanks of electrodes are produced from separated granulate by cold pressing. Billets of electrodes in vacuum at temperature of 1430°C, electrode workpieces are cooled down to 800°C. Billets of electrodes are cooled in argon medium and subjected to machining of electrodes.
EFFECT: invention increases service life of spark arresters and static breakdown voltage stability.
