FIELD: aviation industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing equipment using helicopters. The aviation fire extinguishing system contains a water tank (1), the internal cavity of which is divided into four compartments, a water intake pump (2), consisting of a swivel pipe (3), a water intake hose (4), a suspension cable (5), a winch (6) for pulling a water intake pump (2) with a sleeve (4) in the transport position, a foam concentrate tank (9), a pump for feeding the foam concentrate into the tank, a horizontal fire extinguishing system. The barrel of the horizontal fire extinguishing system has a folding structure with a sealed pipe swivel joint, a heating system for operation at low ambient temperatures, an electric drive for opening the tank for a complete discharge of extinguishing liquid in case of emergency power outage of the helicopter's power supply system or by a signal from the pilot's console.
EFFECT: expanded operating temperature range, increased flight speed, simplified piloting technique when landing a helicopter, and increased volume of transported extinguishing fluid.
