FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to measure linear movements of a slider with a cutter of a boring head of a machine before processing or during processing. Device comprises a housing, which support side is made magnetic with possibility of installation on magnetic surface of corresponding part of boring head, and the other side of the housing adjacent to its support side is made with a slot in which a displacement sensor is fixed to interact with the measuring line and measure movement of said slider, wherein the displacement sensor is connected to the microprocessor located inside the housing. Body support side is made with possibility to be installed on the above slider with provision of reliable retention and movement together with it, and measuring ruler is configured to be fixed on surface of fixed part of boring head.
EFFECT: using the invention allows simplifying the design of the device, improving operating reliability and accuracy of measurements.
