FIELD: chemical reactors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalytic chemical reactor with distribution of fluid medium and, optionally, also with separation of particles. Reactor comprises a catalyst bed and a fluid distributor in the form of a floating tray distributing the fluid flow entering the reactor onto the catalyst bed. Floating disc comprises a plurality of discrete detachable tray sections and a fluid distribution element. Plurality of tray sections comprises tray support to support floating tray on top of catalyst bed and is connected by quick-release retainers, wherein quick-detachable retainers are adapted for remote opening. Floating plate can be assembled and removed from the reactor through the process holes of the reactor without opening the reactor.
EFFECT: invention provides easy assembly, removal, emptying and removal of floating tray, as well as uniform distribution of process fluid medium to catalyst layer.
