FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packaging intended for placement and delivery of eggs or similar fragile goods. Package for accommodation and storage of eggs includes a housing made of non-transparent material and consisting of top and bottom parts connected to each other. Lower part includes compartments the shape of which partially corresponds to outer contour of eggs. Upper part includes flat top surface, flat front and rear surfaces, flat end surfaces. On the end surfaces there are sections partially reflecting the eggs shape. On each end surface there is one section, in form of a convexity, with edges formed by two surfaces, each of which partially reflects contour of lateral quarter of upper part of egg, which on one side adjoin end surface of upper part of housing, and on the other side are connected to each other by solid surface, which in each of its vertical section partially repeats contour of lateral quarter of upper part of egg.
EFFECT: invention provides increased area suitable for application of advertising information.
