SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for operations on posterior cranial fossa, namely correction of Chiari malformation in order to fix dura mater, occipital and cervical muscles to occipital bone. Device for fixation of dura mater, occipital and cervical muscles in operations on Chiari malformation is a mesh plate with fastening holes on solid edge. Plate has middle and lateral curvature, inner concave side with smooth surface and outer convex side with rough surface, perpendicular projection on outer side along central axis with holes for fixation of muscles and hole in lower part of plate on both sides of projection for attachment of dura mater.

EFFECT: using the invention provides the possibility of simultaneous fixation of the dura mater, as well as occipital and cervical muscles between each other and to the occipital bone in Chiari malformation correction operations.
