FIELD: forming of chemical fibers.
SUBSTANCE: device for production of spun non-woven fabrics from elementary threads, wherein chamber (4) of elementary threads cooling by cold air is installed. On the opposite sides of the cooling chamber, a supply air unit is installed with the possibility of introducing cold air into the cooling chamber through the opposite supply air units. In each unit of inlet air there is a straightening grid for equalizing the flow of cold air falling on elementary threads. Straightening grid has several flow channels oriented perpendicular to direction of movement of elementary threads. Open surface of straightening grid occupies more than 85 %, and ratio L/Di of length L of flow channels (19) and diameter Di of flow channels (19) ranges from 1 to 15.
EFFECT: disclosed is a device for producing spunbonded nonwoven fabricks from filaments.
