SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device for transporting and holding a glass sheet and to a washing and drying unit comprising a retainer. Disclosed is device (1) for transportation and holding glass sheet (2), comprising transport facility and retainer, configured to hold the glass sheet in a predetermined position, in particular in a horizontal position, according to the invention, the transportation facility comprises at least two spaced apart and parallel transportation systems (10A, 10B), called side transportation systems, extending longitudinally in conveying direction and configured to be arranged to support glass sheet lateral sides, wherein retaining means comprises at least one retaining system (11A, 11B; 13A, 13B), located above the side transportation systems (10A, 10B) and above the glass sheet and configured to limit the amplitude of movement of the glass sheet.
EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring of the glass sheet strong holding during transportation and during its washing, which enables to carry out the glass sheet two sides surface washing, including periphery of glass sheet, and also reduces glass sheets breakage.
