SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication devices. Disclosed is a communication device comprising a generator module configured to generate a response frame prescribed by the IEEE802.11 standard, by establishing a value corresponding to the BSS system to which the communication device belongs, in the address field of the receiving station as part of the response frame; and a transmitting unit configured to transmit this response frame. Response frame is a CTS frame or an ACK frame, and the value is a value set based on the address information and identification information of the BSS system of the receiving station.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of a communication device which has received a response frame, to determine whether the response frame is a signal of the own BSS system, while providing backward compatibility.
