SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a screen translation technology. Displaying a user interface of a first application when receiving a screen translation instruction with respect to a first application from a user, translating user interface of first application to screen of other terminal for display, and displaying the user interface of the main page, and reducing the scale of the user interface of the first application and then displaying it in the form of a floating window. Present invention forms floating window for first application in terminal and translates user interface of first application to screen of other terminal by using screen translation technology so that first application is returned back to background mode of terminal and remains in operation state, and the second application can also be launched in the user interface of the main page, which satisfies the user's need for multiple applications simultaneously.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring operation of multiple applications simultaneously during screen translation.
