SUBSTANCE: invention relates to user interface means, namely, to elements for multiple displays. Method of managing windows for a computing device comprises: executing a windowing system; executing an application launcher on the computing device; response to each first user input, which display the application launcher on the first display; response to each first user input, which activate the application launcher when the application launcher is not displayed on the first display; response to every second user input that is associated with any of the displays; response to every second user input that is associated with any of the displays; and maintaining two or more of the application windows in a tiled arrangement on any display.
EFFECT: technical result is uninterrupted and consistent use of multiple displays.
